SAIPEM assigned the Heavy Lifting and Transportation Division of Multimarine Services Ltd (MMS) the task of transporting the 103t Water Jet Trencher offloaded from the Saipem CSV Far Samson from the quayside of Larnaca Port, Cyprus to storage area using MMS’s multiwheeler.

SAIPEM’s Water Jetting Trencher (WJT01) was structurally modified, upgraded and tested by Multimarine Services Ltd in Q3 and Q4 of 2019, following a successful collaboration between the MMS and SAIPEM teams.

The 103 ton WJT01 was mobilized on board SAIPEM’s Far Samson (Construction Support Vessel) in Q1 of 2020 for the Qattameya-Atoll 4 Project offshore Egypt.
