Renos Phokas

Managing Director

Renos Phokas is the Founder and CEO of Multimarine Group with more than 45 years of experience in the Marine and Energy industries. Renos is a Chartered Engineer and Member of the Institute of Marine Engineers (IMarEst). He founded Multimarine Services Ltd in 2001 where he immediately created a strong and highly experienced team, which since then attracted numerous local and international clients from the Marine and Energy Industries. Renos has throughout the past 2 decades proudly expanded Multimarine to become one of the largest service provision groups in the Maritime Cluster of Cyprus through the development of numerous new services lines, expansions and acquisitions, an effort that was fruitful and successful through his vision and relentless work.

Renos’ dream and long term target was the establishment of a vessel drydocking facility in Cyprus. This was proudly achieved with the arrival of the Floating Drydock ERENEOS in 2018 following many years of efforts. The operation of the Floating Drydock ERENEOS along with the rest of the MULTIMRINE state-of-art facilities in Limassol Port has put Cyprus in the map of the shipyard services, offering a much needed service to the thousands of vessels operating in the Mediterranean yearly.

Renos focused his professional career on offering high-quality services and created the reputation of a reliable and hard-working professional. This mentality was passed over to Multimarine Services Ltd where quality and client satisfaction are the two most distinct characteristics of the company.

Pavlos Phokas

Commercial Director

Pavlos Phokas holds an MSc in Management & Regulation of Risk from the London School of Economics (LSE). Pavlos started his career as an HSE Advisor in the onshore and offshore Oil & Gas Industry in the North Sea. Pavlos’ experience varies from offshore construction and commissioning projects, offshore maintenance projects, as well as FEED Projects.

Pavlos holds the NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health and joined Multimarine Services in 2010. Pavlos currently serves as the Commercial Director of Multimarine Group and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Group companies with strong focus in the energy, maritime and renewable sectors.

In 2019, Pavlos was awarded with the Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award from the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Operations Director

Angelos Phokas holds a BEng and MSc in Civil Engineering and an MBA gained from the London Metropolitan University. Angelos started his career as a Civil Engineer in construction companies in London, Greece and Cyprus.

He joined Multimarine in 2008 and added vast knowledge as a Project Manager. Angelos’ current role is the management of the shipyard and Superyachting divisions of Multimarine Group. Angelos is also member of the Board of Directors of the Group companies.

Christos Antoniadis

Head of Technical Department

Christos Antoniadis holds a BEng and MEng in Civil Engineering gained from London’s City University in 2001. Christos started his career as a Civil Engineer in construction companies in Greece where he had a long successful career in Building Projects, including roads, multi-storey houses, schools, public infrastructure and many more.

He joined Multimarine in 2014 and is now leading the Operations and Heavy Lifting and Transportation Departments. Christos also serves as a member of the Board of Directors in the Group companies.

Phil is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer registered by the Engineering Council (UK) and a Certified

Manager of Quality and Organizational Excellence by the ASQ. He is a participative leader of the Quality & Engineering Departments at Multimarine Group with 10+ years of combined experience in Quality Management, Project Management, Engineering, Welding, NDT and R&D.

Since joining Multimarine Services Ltd in 2013, Phil has been developing, implementing, and evaluating tailored procedures and processes to ensure that the operations of the Company, from raw materials to finished products, meet the quality, integrity, and efficiency standards set by its clients and evolving project specifications.

Phil holds a BEng (1st class Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the Manchester Metropolitan University (UK) and a MSc (distinction) in Mechanical & Bioengineering from the University of Nottingham (UK).

Tomasz Szmytka joined Multimarine Services Ltd in 2006 and his current role is Ship Repairs and Fabrications Manager.

Tomasz enjoys a wealth of experience in the ship repairs sector as well as delivering complex fabrication and technical support projects for the onshore and offshore energy industry both in Cyprus and internationally. Tomasz’s determination and knowledge quickly enabled him to climb the hierarchy ladder and is now a member of Multimarine’s management team.

Andreas holds a BEng (1st class Hons) and Meng (1st class Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from City University London; along with various other certifications including mechanical 2D & 3D CAD, welding & NDT.

Andreas is a remarkably astute, seasoned and innovative professional equipped with broad-based years of experience in project management, ship repair and marine engineering. Since he joined Multimarine in 2015, Andreas contributed to the organization’s goals for delivering simultaneous, large-scale, mission-critical projects within the constraints of scope, quality, time and cost, while establishing and maintaining productive working relationships among cross-cultural team members involved in fast-paced project environments.

Andreas is currently managing our Ship Repairs & Drydocking Department.

Maria joined Multimarine Services in 2013 and currently holds the position of the Group Chief Financial Officer. She is responsible for the finance and accounting departments of the Multimarine Group. Maria has 20 years of experience in accounting and auditing.

Maria completed her university studies in Business Administration with Major concentration in Accounting at the University of Cyprus in 2003. She is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and a Fellow member of the Cyprus Institute of Certified Public Accountants (ICPAC).

Elena joined Multimarine in 2012 and currently serves as our Procurement Manager. Elena also has previous experience in logistics.

Since joining Multimarine our procurement department has expanded significantly. Elena and her team have developed a network of trustworthy diverse suppliers and ensure a continuous supply of materials to execute our numerous projects as well as all our clients’ needs ranging from food provisions to technical ship spares. Careful research is put into each request received for the most cost saving options with special attention to quality. Elena has strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Her mission is to get even the most difficult orders delivered on time.

Panagiotis Fasoulis holds a BSc degree in Civil Engineering, an MSc in Engineering Management and an MSc in Occupational Health and Safety.

He is a holder of the NEBOSH in Occupational Health & Safety, Fire Safety, Process Safety Management, while he is also approved by the Cyprus Ministry of Labor as a certified provider of External Protection & Prevention Services (EXYPP).

Panagiotis serves in the field of Health and Safety with more than ten years of experience, in developing and implementing robust safety programs across diverse industries and remains committed to staying updated on industry trends and best practises to uphold high standards of safety excellence. He is focused into proactive approach to risk management and regulatory compliance and excels in identifying hazards and implementing effective controls to mitigate risks and ensure a safe working environment.

Panagiotis joined Multimarine in 2022 and he is leading the HSE Department.
