Multimarine was contracted by the Cyprus Navy to lift out of the water and carry out complete maintenance of hull and repair of the Propulsion System of the P/V Salamis. Phase 1 of the project consisted of the design and fabrication of a Special Steel Cradle. Phase 2 consisted of lifting out of the water and placing the vessel on the cradle. Phase 3 consisted of untertaking and performing complete maintenance of hull including wood treatment and coating, and the survey and repair of the propulsion system (shafts, bearings, propellers, rudders etc). On completion the vessel was placed back in water.
