Description:
Multimarine has just completed safely and on time the mobilisations of all Sonsub's vessels in Limassol Port, Cyprus for the SEQUOIA Project. The mobilisations were carried out in a period of 6 weeks where the subsea vessels Normand Cutter, Bourbon Pearl, Vos Sympathy and BOA Barge were all mobilised.

Throughout the mobilisations, work was carried out continuously on a 24 hour basis, and on one occasion on 3 vessels simultaneously.

Renos Phokas, Managing Director, commented "Multimarine proved its ability to co-ordinate large scale projects successfully. All operations were carried out safely and this was positively commented by our client's representatives as well."

Multimarine's involvement with the SEQUIOA Project was initiated with the award of fabrication of various subsea structures which were completed in Multimarine's Fabrication Yard inside Limassol Port. These structures were then loaded on board the above vessels. Then, throughout the mobilisations Multimarine provided a project manager, foremen, certified welders, fitters, cutters, riggers, electricians, hydraulic engineers, firewatchers and NDT engineers. To complement our service we provided Sonsub a package which included forklifts and mobile cranes of various lifting capacities as well as low loaders and flat bed trucks.

Renos Phokas concluded "I would like to thank my team for their dedication to work with enthusiasm and above all in a safe manner. At Multimarine we highly value the safety of everyone involved in our activities and it was with great pride that my team's efforts were positively commented by Sonsub's Director. I also would like to thank all my associates including Sonsub's Representatives and Engineers for their co-operation with myself and my stuff"
