Description:

1. Overhaul of Main Hydraulic Cylinder
Provide and install a frame / stand to support the crane boom.
Disconnect and remove the main hydraulic cylinder of the crane and taking it to workshop.
Dismantling the hydraulic cylinder by removing the cover with the oil seals and the hydrauli ram with the disc and the seals.
Cleaning all parts, the cylinder, the ram including the seals, cleaning and freeing up the bearings at both ends, modifying the cover by opening a new groove and fitting a new stronger oil seal inside and a new O ring seal outside.
Reassembling the cylinder, taking it back on board and installing it back in it's place and locking the upper and lower pins
Pumping grease inside the bearings



2. Renewal of Hydraulic Pipes

Removing the old hydraulic pipes attached on the cylinder and fabricating and fitting new ones with new pipe fittings


3. Fairing Round Bars for Wire Rope Protection
Cutting off the old pipes from the upper end of the sheave block of the crane, fitted to protect the wire rope from sharp edges.
Fitting and welding new round bars 30x600 long at both sides of the outer ends of the sheave block to protect the wire rope from sharp edges and not getting damaged. 


4. Load Test and Certificate of ROV Crane
Providing a 5Te certified load and then carrying out operational test, visual examination and load test (5Te proof load applied) of the ROV crane after the overhaul of the main cylinder and the renewal of the hydraulic pipes.


5. Power Pack Frame
Transport the frame to Multimarine's Yard.
Cleaning the unit from oil spillages.
Fitting and welding 4 off stainless steel plates 150x5 x 1200mm all around the frame at the lower end to increase the oil sump
Fitting and welding 4 off new legs x 150 LG to raise the frame up for drainage purposes
